When will Dubai’s biggest attractions reopen for the 2026-27 season?
Key dates revealed as seasonal venues prepare for the cooler months
DUBAI – Dubai’s outdoor attraction season is approaching, with several major destinations preparing to welcome visitors again after their summer closures.
Global Village, Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Safari Park are all scheduled or expected to return during the coming months, while Dubai Parks and Resorts is also preparing for its next operating period.
At the same time, some of the emirate’s best-known landmarks are undergoing much longer transformations. The Museum of the Future has temporarily closed for a complete overhaul, while Burj Al Arab is undergoing a major restoration programme.
Here are the key reopening dates and timelines to know.
Global Village
Global Village is preparing to return for Season 31, with the attraction confirming that the new season will run from October 2026 to May 2027. An exact opening day has not yet been announced.
The seasonal destination brings together shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural experiences, with international pavilions forming one of its main attractions. Its programme also includes cultural performances, children's entertainment, street shows and stage productions.
The attraction's previous season has now ended, leaving visitors waiting for the official Season 31 opening announcement.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Dubai Miracle Garden is closed for its annual summer renovation and is expected to return in October 2026, with the season typically running through May. The garden has not yet announced an exact reopening date.
The Al Barsha South attraction is known for its large-scale floral displays, themed installations and flower-covered structures. Season 15 is already scheduled to feature a programme of events, including a pop-up market from October 1 to 15 and children's activities from October 10 to 18.
Its new season is being prepared during the summer closure, with the garden undergoing seasonal renovation before visitors return.
Dubai Safari Park
Dubai Safari Park is preparing to reopen for Season 8 in October 2026, according to the attraction's official website. Tickets and new seasonal packages are expected to become available closer to the reopening.
Located in Al Warqa 5, the wildlife park is home to more than 3,000 animals and six themed zones, including African Village, Asian Village, Explorer Village, Arabian Desert Safari, Kids Farm and Al Wadi.
Season 7 ended after recording 144 newborn animals, including white rhino Salam and giraffe Zuri, while the park also reported more than 27,600 students taking part in educational programmes.
Dubai Parks and Resorts
Dubai Parks and Resorts is set for an October return, with MOTIONGATE Dubai, LEGOLAND Dubai, LEGOLAND Water Park and Real Madrid World among its major attractions.
Real Madrid World offers more than 40 football-themed experiences, while LEGOLAND Dubai features more than 40 rides and attractions and LEGOLAND Water Park has more than 20 water slides and attractions.
Real Madrid World, the world's first football club theme park, spans six hectares and includes more than 40 experiences inspired by the Spanish club.
Museum of the Future
The Museum of the Future has temporarily closed its doors as it prepares for a completely reimagined visitor experience. The museum says it will reopen in the first quarter of 2027, coinciding with its fifth anniversary.
The overhaul will replace the existing exhibitions with a new narrative, exhibitions, spaces and experiences. The museum said the development process drew on more than 1,000 ideas and suggestions from around the world.
Tickets for the renewed museum will be released closer to the reopening.
Burj Al Arab
Dubai's sail-shaped Burj Al Arab is undergoing an extensive restoration programme after more than 25 years of continuous operation. Jumeirah announced in April that the work would focus on enhancing and preserving the hotel's distinctive interiors while safeguarding its architectural and design legacy.
The restoration is being led by French interior architect Tristan Auer. The hotel closed in April 2026, with its return expected after an approximately 18-month programme, putting the anticipated reopening around October 2027.
Barasti Beach
Barasti Beach has also entered a major redevelopment phase after closing in June 2026. The long-running Dubai beachfront venue, which has been part of the city's social scene since 1995, is expected to return in 2027 following its transformation.
The redevelopment is set to introduce multiple zones, redesigned interiors and an expanded food and drink offering, with the revamped venue intended to cater to both visitors and Dubai's growing residential communities.
AURA Skypool
AURA Skypool is currently closed for renovation and has confirmed that bookings will reopen from November 24, 2026. The attraction, located at The Palm Tower, is preparing to welcome guests back with a renewed experience.
The attraction offers panoramic views from its elevated infinity pool, with experiences ranging from sunrise and morning sessions to afternoon and evening visits. Its official website is already accepting bookings from November 24.
